This two episodes were truly amazing, the animation was nice, and it was so nostalgic to see Dawn and Piplup, and it remind me of Brock, Paul and Tobias, everything in Diamond and Pearl. It was also nice to see some character development for Chloe.

Next episode will bring back even more memories, Alola, Z move, Team Rocket and Bewear. Too much nostalgia in recent episode that remind me how old I am

Omg so true lol, I was not even a child when I start to binge watch whole Pokemon series, but still it feels like is been a long time maybe due to those old character returning. Hope to see all Pokegirl return, maybe do a Pokemon Contest featuring Dawn, Serena and May. Also like to see all old rival, Gary, Alan, Paul, Kiawe, Gladion etc all return for a Pokemon League

That would be glorious to see. Hope we do see the other Pokegirls coming back, as well as friends + rivals alike.

This is literally the second time Darkrai has been misunderstood by Ash and Dawn. Darkrai might bring about nightmares but Darkrai and Cresselia are counterparts making one's existence essential to the other. They need to co-exist to keep the balance. So Darkrai defending Cresselia and Cresselia sacrificing herself to heal Darkrai with lunar dance is only natural and poetic.
Bewear is back finally.

I hope we get to see Serena and May again

And this two-parter came full circle which these two eps has very good titles describing both Darkrai and Cresselia coming together, also the fact this also reference to one of Shakespeare's famous plays.
And now we are off to Alola once again.

Why I got tears when I heard that cresselia lives on full moon island so that darkrai doesn't get lonely.

In my opinion this two-part arc felt very rushed and underwhelming, even Dawn and Ash reunion was barely meaningful considering that last time they saw each other was at the end of Sinnoh, when they went on their respective ways.
Though do has to say the flashback was nice.

Actually this is the 2nd reunion since Dawn came back during Black & White.

Just continuing on in the story line and this happen after the League going into the Univa island Archipelego area.
It was still on that pokegirl reunion trend after Misty & May.

I didn't watch any of the seasons after Diamond and Pearl finished until this one, but later on I will most likely look for those specific episodes of Ash and Dawn first reunion.

The reunion was after the League, and the character Iris caught a aggressive Dragonite,later two ova's came out and Brock met a character name Cilan

Is that is the same Iris that appeared in this season as the Champion of Unova that Ash defeated in the ranking match?

If they made this arc a three-parter, their reunion would've made more sense. I would've loved to see Hikari and Satoshi compete in contests again, just like old times.

Agreed, but seems this season while bringing some nostalgia is clearly focusing more on the slice of life with some small arcs in between.
In my case I would've preferred if they just had a mock contest battle to see how much has Dawn improved.

The worst part is that this episode's ending made it seem like we will have more of Dawn. But next episode doesn't seem to contain any trace of Dawn and Koharu.

Exactly, though I'm hoping she will appear to cheer for Ash when he has the rematch with Volkner that should happen in 2 or 3 episodes more.

this was nice I think this should have been a 3 ep arc because some of it feels kinda rushed a bit and there was not alot of interactions with ash and dawn but over its alright. glad there was a bit of shipping and pairing with ash and dawn

This was a great two-parter, although it’s a bit disappointing that Ash and Dawn didn’t meet up for long and we didn’t get the classic high five. Chloe getting a lot of character development was definitely one of the best parts.

I'd be so down to watch a Dawn and Chloe spin off show.
